1. Assumption of Extreme Risk
Triathlon, cycling, and endurance sports are inherently dangerous activities that can result in serious injury or death. By using WattX, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Our tools (including but not limited to tyre pressure calculators, gearing ratios, and training plans) generate theoretical estimates. They do not replace common sense, professional mechanical advice, or medical consultation.
2. Limitation of Liability
If you crash, suffer equipment failure, over-train, or sustain any physical injury while utilizing concepts, calculations, or training plans derived from WattX, we are not liable. You are solely responsible for verifying the safety of your equipment and your physical capability to execute a training regimen.
3. Real-World Experience vs. Medical Advice
We bring over 30 years of in-the-trenches triathlon experience, 40+ years of running and swimming, and real-world coaching experience to this platform. However, we are not doctors, nor do we hold formal engineering or coaching diplomas. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice. Always consult a certified physician before beginning any high-intensity endurance training program.
4. Digital Goods & No Refund Policy
WattX provides electronic services and digital products (e.g., downloadable or streamable training plans). Because these digital goods are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned," all sales are strictly final. We do not offer refunds, partial or full, under any circumstances once a purchase is completed.
5. Intellectual Property
All algorithms, code, design elements, and training methodologies provided on WattX are our exclusive intellectual property. Purchasing a training plan grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to use it for your own athletic development. You may not distribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit any part of our platform or plans.
6. Third-Party Platforms
When exporting or syncing workouts via Intervals.icu or similar third-party services, you are fully subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of those respective platforms.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising out of your use of WattX will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swiss courts.
