Tools & Golden Rules
- 3mm, 4mm, & 5mm Hex Keys: You only need three. Buy quality to avoid rounding bolts and ruining components.
- Torque Wrench: Mandatory for carbon parts. You cannot guess 5Nm vs 7Nm by feel.
- Chain Checker: Check monthly to save your cassette from premature wear.
- Carbon Paste & Lube: Gritty paste for seatposts, and a dedicated wax or oil for the chain.
